André is one of the co-founders of HRA Pharma and has been Chief Executive Officer of the Company since its inception in 1996. Prior to founding HRA Pharma, he was Medical Director of Hoechst Marion Roussel (HMR), a forerunner of Sanofi-Aventis. During his career at HMR, André managed all the research and development activities in the field of endocrinology, and authored over one hundred scientific publications. An internationally renowned expert in endocrinology, contraception and women's health, André gained both his PhD and his MD from Paris University, France. André is also CEO of Celogos, HRA Pharma's wholly-owned subsidiary.
