Social Commitment / Philosophy
Since inception in 1996, HRA Pharma has been at the forefront of therapeutic and educational progress in reproductive health in every community and every time zone where we do business. We firmly believe that we have a duty of care to serve all people, including those who cannot afford to buy our drugs. By creating links with international NGOs and local authorities, we are working to help meet the needs of women who might otherwise be unable to afford appropriate treatments and products.

Our commitment is deeply rooted in our history and has long become a part of our company's DNA.
Strongly convinced that our commitment to the society should not be restricted to the company's area of business we have founded the HRA Pharma Foundation, a company foundation committed to fostering access to reproductive healthcare, education and the arts for women across the world.
UN Global Compact
By joining the UN Global Compact, HRA PHARMA committed itself to respecting the ten founding principles of the organization, grouped into four fundamental themes: respect for human rights, working conditions, the environment and the anti-corruption struggle.
HRA Pharma signed the UN Global Compact in October 2012 with the objective to instill its principles into our company's strategy, culture, and operations. In the coming years we intend to advance our engagement by fully incorporating its founding principles as part of our day-to-day operations.
HRA Pharma will report every year on progress in relation to these principles. Attached please find our "Communication on Progress" (COP) dated October 2013.
